{Aqua Farmhouse Hutch}

Have you ever worked on a project that just made you SMILE? I just finished one, and I’m grinning from ear to ear!

Ladies and gentlemen (there’s probably no gentlemen reading, but it sounds cool to say)…

The Aqua Farmhouse Hutch

{Before Hutch}

I love it because of the details!

The first thing I did was paint the main piece using my new DIY Chalk Paint Recipe (follow the link to see previous post).

I painted the main sections white and used this amazing AQUA (Bermuda Blue) paint on the doors and top piece. The best part is, it was a mistint I found at WalMart- SCORE!

The garage had been taken over!

The next step was to distress both pieces.

I spray painted the hardware black using Rust-Oleum Canyon Black Spray Paint.

Next, I glazed it using a black glaze (for glazing instructions check out the Cute Clover Table post).

The final step was to wax the hutch to protect it!

{After Hutch}

Here’s a side by side just for fun!

‘They’ say Aqua is a hot color for this spring (whoever ‘they’ are). I’m not sure, I just know ‘I’ love it and to me, it screams SPRING!

Love you more than finishing a big project!
