DIY Valentines LOVE Plaque
There are so many cute things you can do with a great frame and something for Valentines Day is the perfect way to put it to good use. My great Friday find is perfect, I found this amazing frame at Goodwill for only $4.99. I love how chunky it is!
Step #1: Take backing of frame off and clean the frame.
Step #2: Spray frame with Kilz Spray Primer .
Step #3: Spray with 2 coats of Krylon Bright White Spray Paint.
Step #4: Cut a square of burlap (which you can get at Jo-Ann Fabrics) a little larger than the back of the frame. Wrap the burlap tightly around the edges of the backing, and hot glue in place.
Step #5: Spray paint wood decal with Krylon Cherry Red Spray Paint.
Earlier in the month I ordered this super cute wood decal from Pick Your Plum (a daily email with great deals on crafty items).

Step #6: The last step was simply to glue (E-6000) the LOVE in place.
Now I just have to find the perfect spot for it. I’m thinking maybe the fireplace mantle on an easel – LOVE IT!
