I love a great find – especially one that’s $5.99! I found this twin size headboard at the thrift shop and thought surely I could do something to spruce it up.
{Before Headboard}
Step #1: Prime with Kilz Spray Primer - my BFF.
Step #2: Spray paint with Rust-Oleum Blossom White (2 coats).
Step #3: Distress using 3M 80 grit sandpaper (for a video tutorial on distressing click HERE).
Step #4: Add burlap and white trim on the inside outline.

That is super pretty! I don’t know if I would have thought to do that with the burlap and trim, but I hope I remember it for future potential projects!
