I’ve been searching high and low for over a year looking for a wicker planter. The only ones I have found have been in antique shops for over $100 – RIDICULOUS. You can imagine my excitement when I stumbled (literally) upon one at my local Goodwill for only $9.99 – EEEEKKKK!
{Before Wicker Planter}
The first thing I did was hose it down to make it nice and clean. Then I used my BFF, Kilz Spray Primer. to prime and prepare it for color.
I wanted it to be green to match a couple of cute green pillows already on my front porch. I used the perfect green,
The planter box on the inside was tin and needed holes for drainage. I used a drill and make a few holes.
For the first time ever, I planted flowers – yes people, first time. I have no idea what any of them are called, I just tried to pick ones that would add variety and look good together. Here’s what I started with and how they looked once I planted them in the tin planter box.
