{Cold Cap Therapy}
In an effort to save my hair during the chemotherapy process (treatment for breast cancer) I had the privilege of trying an unconventional option called ‘Cold Cap Therapy’. A lot of people have a had questions about the why, how and what it is all about. Yesterday, Kare 11 TV came to the clinic to film my last treatment and last cold cap therapy.
I thought I’d share the segment and give you an idea of what I did at each chemo session.
Jeff, the producer of the segment, was so nice! It felt like we were just having a nice chat. Of course, only about 3 minutes of our 30 minute conversation made it into the piece, which is typical. For me, the most important point that wasn’t aired, what my trust in the Lord throughout this process and my faith in Him in take me through – with joy!
I did a blog post on the cold cap therapy (which goes into more detail) , if you’d like to read more on how it effected me click HERE.
Please, please, please SHARE this post with anyone you know dealing with cancer (especially breast cancer)! As my doctor, Dr. Zander, pointed out there are women who will refuse chemo to save their hair. Cold Cap may be a way they would consider doing something that can not only save their life, but their hair too!
Love you more than never having to freeze my head again,
Sunday

Hi, I'm Sunday and yes, that's my name! I love DIY projects and the thrill of making something great-for cheap. I'm here to share tips for the DIY'er at heart from a wife, mom, and pastor. What do you do with your Sunday Afternoon?

I have never heard of this treatment. What great news for women (and men) going through chemo.
I lost two girlfriends and an aunt to this horrible disease. I give you credit for being so open about your journey.
Thank you for the information, and a great video! I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Sunday.
Debbie :)

Thank you Debbie. Even if it helps one person it’s worth the post! Be blessed!
