It’s Saturday (YAY), the day I like to ‘share’ on my blog. Usually I share great ideas, today I have something else to share and its good news!
Meet Mary. She’s a sinner, an adulterer even. The kind of woman everyone despised, the one no one wanted to be friends with. Can you just imagine the town gossip?
Did you hear what Mary did?
I bet she’s slept with half the guys in town.
I’d never be caught dead talking to her.
Someone reached out to her. Someone looked at her with eyes of compassion. Someone loved her.
His name is Jesus.
Although Jesus’ first interaction with Mary isn’t technically part of the Easter story – it is the perfect picture of what Easter is all about.
We are all Mary. We are all sinners. We all need Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (MSG) “ Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving.”
Easter reminds us that Jesus provided grace for all of us.
GRACE: God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense
Love you more than bunnies, candy, and egg hunts!
Sunday
Another fun ‘share’ is that my Aqua Farmhouse Hutch has been featured Power of Paint.

Hi, I'm Sunday and yes, that's my name! I love DIY projects and the thrill of making something great-for cheap. I'm here to share tips for the DIY'er at heart from a wife, mom, and pastor. What do you do with your Sunday Afternoon?
