{Finished}
Yesterday was my last day of Chemotherapy – #8. I can not explain how overjoyed I’m to say Buh-Bye to this part of my treatment. I always have a sense of accomplishment when I finish something and yesterday was no different.
Here’s me on Treatment #8:
I finished with hair. I finished with joy. I finished strong. I finished with Jesus by my side.
I finished a great a milestone.
I also know someone else who finished. His accomplishment far outweighs anything anyone of us could do.
The fact that He finished His set course, is the reason I am alive.
Isaiah 53:5 (AMP)” But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.”
John 19:30 (AMP) “When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, It is finished! And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.”
Jesus had an assignment; He finished the job. His accomplishment was whole and complete and He did it for you!
I was able to FINISH, you will be able to FINISH, because He FINISHED first.
Love you more than checking chemo off the list,
