Word for Your Wednesday {Impossible}

{IMPOSSIBLE}

I have a word for today: IMPOSSIBLE. Many things are impossible, like for instance, it’s impossible for me to post a video today because I don’t have my camera – drats. It may be impossible for me to post a video but, thanks to technology I can still post a word for your Wednesday!

Another example would be internet access in the sky, impossible right? Not any more! I am writing this post from somewhere in the clouds which makes it totally possible to connect to the internet while on an airplane – crazy!

The definition of impossible is:

not able capable of being accomplished.

How many times have you faced the IMPOSSIBLE? Most of us face things that are ‘not capable of being accomplished’.  My question for you is: according to whom? Who said it’s not capable of being accomplished? Maybe we have to change who we’re listening to. Could it be possible we’re listening to the wrong guy? I actually know a guy – who will NEVER tell you something is impossible. No really, I’m serious…..

This ‘guy’ is God and He is the God of the IMPOSSIBLE.  When things are ‘not capable of being accomplished’ we have a God who can accomplish anything. In case you’re not sure here’s a quick example: His son was beaten, crucified, dead (like really actually dead, as in not alive) and buried behind a gigantic boulder. Three days later, He’s walkin’ the town and talking to His disciples. Ummm….I would say that would fall under the ‘impossible’ category!

 NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD

Maybe you feel it’s impossible for God to heal your marriage or your body. You might feel you could never get past the hurts in your life or forgive those who have hurt you. You could be feeling it would be impossible for you or your  husband to get out of debt and pay for your kids’ college. Guess what? You are probably right – those things are all IMPOSSIBLE – without God.

Next time you feel like your situation is impossible – if you feel like you have no hope, turn to the one guy who can do the IMPOSSIBLE in your life – God the Father.

Love you more than knowing the ‘guy’ I listen too can do the impossible for me!
