OUR STORY
Morag McDonald, a long time knitter, was always looking for someone to knit garments for. Her vast years of experience allows her to knit fast, with precision and ease. For many years she had no one to share her most passionate hobby with. That was until her eldest son's girlfriend (and now Fiance!), Sam Bell, showed a very real excitement and a need to learn the craft. Sam learnt quickly, a natural talent and understanding of the mechanics of the trade. It became a form of release, relaxation and therapy for Sam, just as it had been for Morag all those years.
Time and time again, people would be speechless when receiving one of Morag's creations. There was something so very touching to open a parcel containing something that's been crafted with love and care, it was always a magical moment that Morag just relished in. One day, not so long ago, Sam experienced the same feeling of awe. She handed over a baby garment set at a baby shower of a close friend and was blown away by the reaction of the crowd that gathered. When she saw the father-to-be's speechless and truly touched face, she knew that more people should be given soft garments, handcrafted with love for their new arrivals. And so, Something Soft was born.

WOOL INFORMATION
This garment is made with high quality Heirloom Merino Magic, 100% sold Pure New Wool. This wool is made in Australia and is soft, warm and cosy with a lovely hand feel.
>> Please note: This is a premium wool. To reduce the price of this garment you can request a wool blend that makes it more cost effective without compromising the softness on your babies skin. Concened about skin allergies? We can knit with an acrylic/nylon blend instead. Please contact us to discuss your options.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your handmade baby garment comes with a care instruction card that lists the following:
Warm machine wash (gentle rinse well)
Do not tumble dry
Dry flat in shade
Warm iron
Dry cleanable

HOW YOU WILL RECEIVE THIS ITEM
This item will be posted to you via Australia Post. It comes packaged in a gift box with tissue paper and includes a garment care card and a blank card with watercolour illustration (created by Sam) for you to write your message.
International orders will be posted without the gift box.
