Each tiny piece is made exactly the way a larger "normal sized" piece is made. From throwing off the hump, to trimming, to pulling a handle, to glazing, to wadding, to finally being fired in the soda kiln, with the finishing touch of sanding the bottom perfectly soft and smooth.
