Vintage Mid-Century Manzanita Wood Sculpture Pen Holder
This is a gorgeous vintage Manzanita wood sculptural pen holder.
The beautiful twisted Manzanita wood is smooth, with tight grain. The wood is a solid piece that has two color tones, dark and light, which makes a lovely contrast and visual interest. Vintage Manzanita wood has a richness to it's color that new wood does not.
There is a removable brass pen holder inserted into the wood. This piece would look great in any mid-century home or office. There is a label on the underside that says, "Manzanita Originals by Toye"
Manzanita wood grows in Western North America. It's a exotic hardwood that is prized for it's twisted forms and very beautiful grain patterns and colors. Manzanita wood products are considered to be environmentally friendly and help restore forests.
In good vintage condition. Some wear and marks from age sold and use. The brass pen holder has patina.
