Vintage Chinese Clear Glass Globe sold with Interior Reverse Painting of ‘Shouxing’ Deity of Longevity

Chinese Glass Globe or Paperweight with a fanciful polychrome vignette of ‘Shouxing' the Chinese deity of longevity, painstakingly reverse painted inside the globe. Shouxing carries a walking stick and holds peach, he stands beside an old pine tree, accompanied by a deer and white heron and is easily recognized by a prominent sold forehead and friendly expression. The vintage glass globe is in excellent overall condition, a circular walnut stand is included.
