Overview: Up for sale is a really impressive abstract cityscape oil painting. This piece depicts a glittering sepia-toned city scene, replete with skyscrapers, overlooking a harbor. May very well be New York, but I'm just not sure. It is signed R. King at lower left. Based on the age of the canvas, the framing and the style of the piece, I would likely date it to the 1950's or 1960's. It's a well-executed piece that would make a great addition to sold any art collection. It comes framed in a carved gold-gilt wood frame. Condition: The painting and frame are in excellent condition. Minor staining on the matting. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 10 inches wide x 8 inches high. Frame measures approximately 15 inches wide x 13 inches high.
