The '91 edition of Reggae Sunsplash showcased musical talents like Maxi Priest, Shinehead, Carlene Davis, Dennis Brown, Andrew Tosh, Little Lenny, A Team Band and emcee Tommy Cowan. This music festival has roots dating back to 1978 in Jamaica, founded by Don Green, Tony Johnson, Ronnie Burke, John Wakeling, and Ed Barclay. By 1985, it grew into an international affair, lasting until the mid 90s. The beloved fest was revived in 2006 and continues to tour internationally as of 2020.
