Sold Yatate Japanese Calligraphy Ink and Brush Holder Very Large Size

A yatate is an old style device for holding black sumi calligraphy ink and a brush.
Many you may have seen would probably be an average size of about 15 cm long.
This yatate would have sat on someone`s desktop, it's far too large to tote around.
It measures :

44 cm long
15 cm tall at the tallest point ( the ink pot area)

I do not know the history of this particular item other than it is cast brass
with sold ornate pictures around the 3 sides of the ink well section and ornate
along the length of the handle.
Chrysanthemums, ginko leaves and a family crest.
I do not think this is antique but just incredibly cool and rare.
