Antique Heavy Bronze Eagle Door Knocker

Heavy Piece with reddish hue makes us believe it is Bronze

Eagle is representative of the presidential seal with an eagle holding arrows and an olive brach. Eagles facing the arrows represented our preparedness for war and the olive branch symbolizing peace. In 1945, President Truman proclaimed all eagles will sold face towards the olive branch and the USA will always represent our preference of peace over war. This eagle facing the arrows means it is most likely pre-1945.
