Mosaic sold Bird Bath - Hand Crafted Garden Decoration with Tulip Floral Design - 22 cm Diameter (9 inches)

Bespoke mosaic terracotta bird bath which has been lovingly hand crafted, from the drawing of the design, to cutting the separate pieces of glass or tile and individually gluing and grouting with precision and care.

The birdbath consists of a round terracotta base that is waterproof sealed and painted in light yellow acrylic, and varnished to give a nice hard wearing gloss finish.

There is a central floral design made up from two tulips with green leaves. One tulip consists of red glass tiles and a vitreous pink glass stem, and the other is made up from yellow glass tiles with a caramel coloured stem. The leaves are hand cut and made up from vitreous green glass tiles and the whole design is individually coloured with grout to suit.

The whole design is then finished with hand cut blue vitreous glass tiles as a background which is completed with sky blue sanded grout.

All of the glass has been adhered to the base with water resistant adhesive and the completed design has been sealed for outside weather protection.

This item would make a lovely feature to add to a garden, patio, or yard providing a flash of colour and a water source for wild birds and other visitors to your garden. This item would make a special gift or why not treat yourself?

Please note although this product IS weather protected, I would strongly recommend emptying the dish out prior to frosty weather.
