A East meets West in this very beautiful attractive bowl set comprising of x8 small bowls and x1 main large bowl - recently sourced from a vide maison in Normandy, France near Pre en Pail.

This is a very interesting set, dating believed to be around cirrca 1900s - as this set is made in France handmade - painted and designed in France - with Veritable Porcelaine -

Each Bowl is Stamped sold with a ''Golden Crown PORCELAINE VERITABLE.''

Chinese inspired decorative sets were very in vogue and fashinable in the 1900s France - Many French artisans would attempt to replicate the beautiful Chinese art decor designs and was much loved in France.

This lovely vintage porcelain set in depicting and man and woman in traditional Chinese dress in a forest/ mountain scenery and cherry blossoms.

Vintage Condition: All x8 small bowls are in very beautiful condition with no chips or cracks and very minor fading areas. The Large bowl has two hairline cracks underneath which do not effect the strength of the bowl and remains very usable and very beautiful none the less.
