Description: Matte mulberry colored art pottery elongated console bowl made by the Van Briggle Pottery Company. The bowl features beautiful tulips on all four sides of the bowl with leaves on either side of the flowers done in shades of green under the mulberry color of the bowl. The piece is elongated and has the raised design of the tulips and leaves all around the exterior of the bowl. The top of the edge of the top of the bowl is slightly curved inward and has curvature and has a nice look. The piece has sold a flat footed base on which it rests and the base is marked with the Van Briggle Pottery mark. Please carefully review the photos as they comprise part of the description as well. Date: 1940's thru the 50's Origin: Colorado Springs, Colorado. Size: The piece measures ~8 1/4" long, 5 1/2" wide and is ~3" high.
