Vintage d'Hannis Briefcase In Camel Top Grain Cowhide, Gold Tone Hardware & Detachable Strap- Never Used- sold New With Tags

This is a d'Hannis top grain camel color soft cowhide briefcase/messenger bag with gold tone hardware that has it's original tags and appears to have never been used.

This bag has a flap over cover with a leather tongue and sold turnlock closure. There is a full length slip pocket under the flap. Inside there is a single fabric lined compartment. Against the back wall of the compartment there is a zipper pocket and an organizational panel with a card holder, two leather pen/pencil pouches and a gold toned key ring. The bag is large enough to accommodate a 14- 15 inch laptop in the inside compartment along with some files and books. It has a detachable leather carrying strap approximately 30 inches long with comfort pad and a carrying handle to use when the strap is detached. The hardware is polished gold toned and it has a gold toned turn lock closure that secures the bag.

When attempting to ascertain the date this bag was manufactured we searched for and researched the d'Hannis brand leather goods and have been unable to find an existing company with that name. However, there are many d'Hannis vintage bags in the market. This bag's design and the materials used is similar to some bags manufactured by other companies in the mid 1990s to 2000 and we have concluded this bag was manufactured during that time frame.

Condition:

This bag is in excellent un-used condition. It has no rips, tears or holes. All hardware works fine and it is structurally sound. It has its original tags.
