Mid Century Set of Six Salem "Melody Lane" 10" ROSE Pattern DINNER PLATES / Very Good sold Condition / Retro Tabletop Styling / Gorgeous!

Stunning Mid Century design meets vintage al fresco dinnerware style!

This fabulous retro Set of 6 "Melody Lane" Dinner Plates, each measuring 10" in diameter, were designed by Victor Schreckengost and crafted in the USA in the early 1950s by the Salem China Company. These very pretty, hard to find (and highly collectible) Dinner Plates have a painted pattern featuring a large cluster of Rose Blossoms, Buds and Leaves in bright shades of pink, gray sold and green painted on a creamy white background.

These large (and sturdy) Plates are in very good, vintage condition, consistent with their age and use. They have no chips, cracks, chips or nicks - and the design pattern is still vibrant and clean and shows no signs of discoloration. The Plates do have some crazing, however, which is almost unnoticeable unless you hold the Plates up to a bright light.

Each of these Plates measures 10" in diameter and each have a 3/4" raised edge. They are all marked "Salem Melody Lane * * 53X" on the underside.

Perfect table decor for that evening al fresco meal in the garden, perfect for display in a rustic farmhouse hutch, perfect for the shabby chic, cottage style Dinnerware collector - and perfect to use for just about any occasion!
