Vintage French Limoges Bernardaud Artois Vert Pattern Serving Bowl sold Platter Cake Plate Coffee Pot Made In France

Of all modern Limoges porcelain, Bernardaud makes some of our absolute favorites. The prestigious company was founded in the 1800's and is renowned for quality and elegant design.

These beautiful serving pieces are in the elegant “Artois Vert” pattern. This particular pattern was introduced in 1974 in both the “Cluny” and “Versailles” shapes; it is the Versailles shape you see here, which can be recognized by the beautiful crosshatch and ridged details in the porcelain itself. The “Artois Vert” pattern has been discontinued, so it is increasingly difficult to find.

The round covered dish measures 8 ¾ inches across, not including the handles. The large cake plate has a diameter of 10 ½ inches, including the small handles. The coffee pot is about 7 inches high (about 9 inches if the measurements include the lid), and the bowl is about 9 sold ½ inches across.

There is a small chip on the underside of the coffee pot lid; this would not be seen during use. Other than that, the pieces are in almost mint condition, as you will see from the photos—they have no other chips or cracks, and the gilding is in very good shape.
