SOOO wide! 24 inches wide, one of the widest I've ever seen! ~*~ A wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the circa 1920-30. This sack was hand woven with a herringbone weave and used for storing grains! It's a gorgeous homespun linen, with dense white and green stripes down the center. This grain sack has a heavy weight with a tremendous amount of texture ~ . This sack has a hand stitched hem at the top , It's SO pretty! ~*~ ~ These textiles were made to stand the test of time and are ideal for upholstery projects, pillow covers, bath mats, table runners, dog sold beds, curtains, lampshades etc! ~
MEASUREMENTS : This vintage grain sack measures 24 inches wide by 46 inches long ( it's double sided, so if using for cutting there are 2 panels that measure this!) ~*~
CONDITION : This grain sack is in as found, unwashed condition ~ Because this sack is a hemp and cotton mix, best to wash on cold or even better to just dry clean if and when needed ~*~
