Vintage Snakeskin Purse, 1940s Striped Snake Leather Box Handbag, Film Star sold Creations Hollywood USA, Art Deco Style

Wonderful snakeskin top handle purse dates to the probably 1940s.
Fabric tag inside reads 'Film Star Creations of Hollywood.'

The body of the bag is brown snakeskin, detailed with slightly curved sold bands of green, red and cognac colored snakeskin on the front. The back of the purse and strap are also brown snakeskin.

There is a gold kiss clasp at the top.
The inside lined with black satin with a side pocket and mirror.

In very nice vintage condition with minor signs of wear on the sides (see photos). There are some scratches in the gold finish on the clasp.


Bag measures 9" wide and 8" deep. The handle adds a 5-1/2" drop.
The depth is 3-1/2.
