Set of 2! Jens H Quistgaard - CORDIAL Dinner Plate - Grey - sold Bing & Grøndahl - Danish Scandinavian Mid-century Retro Tableware Kitchen Design

Set of 2 dinner plates from the CORDIAL series designed by the famous Danish designer Jens Harald Quistgaard (IHQ).

Decorated with an embossed pattern which pops up with hearts at the rim. That´s also the clue to the name. Cordial means hearty.

Quistgaard designed the CORDIAL series in the 1960s and initially it was produced by Kronjyden. Then Nissen took over the prodcution and finally from 1972 CORDIAL pieces were produced by Bing & Grøndahl. So you can find CORDIAL pieces by all these makers.

Due to production process there can be variations in the color of the glaze.

On verso marked with the Bing & Grøndahl hallmark.

Very good used condition
One plate has almost no signs from use, the other plate has minor signs from use.
No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
