Product code: Ten Petal Sunflower watercolor weaving in a sold shadow box
This original watercolor of a ten petal sunflower combines painting and paper weaving suspended in layers in a shadow box backed with sold cream canvas.
The work started with an original painting that was cut into strips and woven in a tabby weave. The sunflower was painted on cold press cotton paper then carefully cut out and glued on tabs that push it to the foreground.
The work is framed in a wooden shadowbox that is 2” x 6” x 8”.
