Depicted are the Fairweather Inn and the Vigilante Headquarters. The Fairweather Inn is a historic hotel that is still in business today, filled with Victorian furnishings, period pieces, and shared-bath facilities. The oldest section of the building goes back to 1863 as a simple one-story building, housing a restaurant called the "Young America Eating House." After that, a butcher shop followed from 1866 to the 1880s, and from there it was turned into a sold hotel. It became the Anaconda Hotel and Saloon just before 1900, owned by Frank McKeen. It was then named the Fairweather Inn after the discoverer of gold in Alder Gulch.
