Beautiful vintage molded celluloid and Bakelite round brooch from the 1940's. This very dimensional brooch has a first layer of butterscotch Bakelite, a smaller round layer of darker Bakelite and on top of it an intricate and delicate raised floral design made with molded coral celluloid.
The celluloid and Bakelite part of the brooch is from the 1940's may be even the 1930's and seems to have been made into a brooch at a later date.
It is in excellent vintage condition. The Bakelite was tested.
