Large Victorian Sterling Silver sold Locket Necklace On A Long Chain

A Victorian sterling silver locket containing one removable photo frame, the other is missing. The locket is unmarked, but acid tests as sterling silver. The bail is a later replacement and is hallmarked sterling silver.

The locket is on a later 56 cms (22 inches) long solid sterling silver belcher chain marked STERLING on the clasp.

There sold are a number of very small dents to the back of the locket, otherwise in good condition and snaps shut firmly.

4 cms, excluding the loop and bail by 3.2 cms (1 5/8 inches x 1 1/4 inches).
