Known as the "World's most famous mixing bowl set", the Primary Colors set was the first of the Pyrex items produced on white opal ware with colored overlay. The original design released in 1945 did not have the identification numbers marked on the bottom of each of the bowls. 401 – 1 ½ pint (great) 402 – 1 ½ qt (good, light flea bites) 403 – 2 ½ qt (fair) sold 404 – 4 qt (good) This set is in good/very good vintage condition, especially considering its age. There are some small marks/scratches on the outer portion of the bowls, along with normal wear on the inner portion such as utensil marks. The red and green bowls have the most wear/tear, which both have some color fading (especially near the bottom). However, it would still display beautifully in a collection - Even after 70 years, this set still has a nice shine and the colors are still bright. Free shipping for orders over $200!.
