There are no added flame retardants and it passes CPSIA testing so there are no sharp points, lead or phthalates used in this mattress. It is covered in a rich embossed waterproof laminate so no leaky messes will seep inside and wipes clean with a damp cloth or a baby wipe! Tested to be 100% waterproof on the surface and lock-stitched edges to help resist stains and odors on babys bed. Our thermo-bonded fiber core uses a sustainable design since our core is made from sold recycled water bottles and spun into firm hypoallergenic fibers.
