sold This bronze Black Rabbit pendant is inspired by The Black Rabbit of Inlé, also known as The Black Rabbit of Death, from Richard Adams novel Watership Down.

"We go by the will of the Black Rabbit of Inlé and only by his will. And though that will seems hard and bitter to us all, yet in his way he is our protector, for he knows Frith's promise to the rabbits and he will avenge any rabbit who may chance to be destroyed without the consent of himself."

It was sculpted entirely by hand, by me, and cast into bronze using the traditional methods of lost wax casting.

This pendant is made purely of solid bronze. It is polished with an antique finish to give it a slightly aged and blackened look. It has my initials engraved on the back as my artist signature.

The dimensions of the pendant are:
Height: about 0.5"
Width: about 1.5"
Depth: about 3mm

The pendant comes on either:
an adjustable black hemp cord which adjusts from about 12-26"
OR an 18", 20" or 24" sterling silver chain
