Vintage Yoots (Yut Nori) board game produced by Orchard Inc in 1979. Includes hinged sold box and original instructions. All game pieces and board are wooden, box is not. Box measures 12.5” x 9.5” Excellent condition for it's age. The box shows the only signs of wear, mostly on the edges/corners. Game pieces and board are near mint condition. Yoots is a centuries-old board game originating in Korea and played, in various forms, throughout the Orient. Researchers believe that Yoots may be the forerunner of all modern “race chase” games. It is certainly one of the purest games of its type, combining elements of both strategy and chance to create an exciting game that is unsurpassed by others of the same nature.
