There are several Hardwood options available, including Caribbean Walnut, Red Grandis, Purple Heart, Yellow Heart, Sapele, Walnut, Hard Maple, White Oak, Zebra Wood..... just to name a few.
With a little bit of love, this board will last you for many years as long as the board is cared for per the instructions. Wooden cutting boards are also a much better match for your sold knives. They won't dull as quickly as they do on your boards made of plastic or glass.
