A set of lovely vintage Dutch Concave Monograd letter or postal sold scales. Enamel measurement scale and brass weighing plate

I love the look and design of this set of vintage Dutch letter scales.

Made by Monograd Concave with so much stylish detail and features.

The first thing I was drawn to was the curved measurements scale. White enamel with beautiful black numerals in 10g increments to ensure exact weights of very small items.

The scale has an adjustable foot at the front and sold a footed stand at the other that can be folded in to store or move the scales. The weighing plate is brass as is the swinging arm below. There is some text on the swinging arm that translates to 'not for commercial purposes'.

There is an architectural style to this set of scales, they are functional but also make a nice display piece. The numerals are striking against the white enamel and the addition of the deep red marker line adds a lovely touch.

In very good condition the measurements are: 29 cm high x 27 cm wide x 12 cm deep
