PBD Ultralight Aluminum Pack Frame

Our Pack Frame is a modular aluminum H frame made to add weight hauling capacity to your SOOLITE50, Trailpack40 or Trailpack60 backpacks. The frame is user adjustable for any common size "torso to shoulder" length.

An "uncoated" frame weighs only 12.5oz and made from extremely tough 60-61 t6 3/8x1" Aluminum. The base frame kit includes two vertical C channel bars and sold two horizontal 1/2" wide bars, both with holes drilled every 1" for customization and attachments. The Top Head Bar will adds another 3.5oz and if you want extra horizonal bars they will add 1.5oz each.

Frame dimensions = 11 1/4" wide by 23" tall. Top Head Bar is 11" wide adjustable to 2"-5".

The frame will be sold in a rare aluminum and black power coated version. Just note, powder coating does add a couple ounces to the weight of your setup. Looks very cool though.

Attaches to your PBD TRAILPACK40, PBD TRIALPACK60, PBD Soolite50 or a ULK35 Pack with hook & loop and 6 x 1/16" paracord lines. Easily attaches and detaches. Don't like a sitpad. check out our separate listing on the 4-1 Frame Mesh backing.

Effectively transfers pack weight to your hips and creates a rigid vertical and horizontal frame for your backpack load but also flexible to move with your hiking steps.

Designed to be incorporated with the PBD Trailpack padded belt (sold separately)

EXPANSION Kit is optional and includes; Top head bar, extra horizontal bar, cushion pad and 6 aluminum screws.
