Fabulous World War One military collectible!

Formal portrait of 2 WW1 US Army Doughboys and 1 US Navy Sailor! Framed in an amazing veneered oval frame with 4 carved draped flags surrounding a shield!

I'm assuming it may be a set of brothers posing for a formal portrait before shipping out in 1918!

The picture is illustrated with the American Eagle, US Flag, ships, soldiers and an American Revolutionary War Drum and Fife Team celebrating the ‘Spirit of 1776 and 1918'!

Wear and tear on both the frame and portrait!

2 rips on the portrait! Fading and marks.

There is no glass or backing on the frame. It will need to be framed by a professional. The frame originally had convex glass. A few chips in the wood and missing gold detail!

Measures 16 1/2” wide x 24 1/2” tall x 1” thick!

I try to describe any flaws that I see but I suggest you look at all of the photos and ask any questions you may have regarding the item. These amazing pieces are lightly cleaned. Anything more then that is left to the buyer so I don't risk damaging anything or destroying a fabulous patina.
