Product code: French Antique Bistro Brulot / French Vintage Bistro Coffee sold Cups / Vintage Paris Bistro Decor / French Country / French Cottage/ Shabby Chic

French antique coffee cups, also known as  "brulot" or bistro cups, sold separately.  They are the traditional kind of cups that were used in French cafes all over France for many decades but they went out of fashion around the 1950-60s. They are made of heavy porcelain so they can stand up to the constant abuse of handling and washing...and to keep the coffee hot.

The name "brulot" comes from the eponymous preparation of strong coffee on which a sugar sprinkled with brandy was flamed.

Cups like these are hard to find now as they're sought after by many collectors.

From c. 1900.  Each one is different, they are all hand decorated.  Condition varies. Sold individually.  Hand wash only, not microwave safe.

SOLD SEPARATELY. Please read below for individual descriptions, and make the appropriate selection while ordering.

A - blue and gold accents; very good antique condition, no chips, breaks, or fractures; about 8cm tall, 8cm across the top

B - orange stripes, blue flowers, gold accents; antique condition with a hairline fracture by the handle; about 8cm tall, 8cm across the top

C - blue and gold accents, floral motif on handle; antique condition with a chip at the bottom; about 8cm tall, 9cm across the top

Currently there are some countries where I am not able to ship to, that includes countries in a state of war, Great Britain, and Germany. I do ship to the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and countries in the European Union. If you have a question if I ship to your country, please send me a convo.
If you've changed your mind, please notify me asap - I accept cancellations within two days after purchase.

Regretfully I cannot accept exchanges or returns*. Because all items I sell are vintage, they will show signs of age. If you have concerns, please contact me with questions, requests for additional photos, before you make a purchase. I make a lot of effort to point out any features and potential faults of the items I sell. All items are sold “as is”. They all have little “faults” which in case of vintage just adds to their charm in my opinion.
