Here we have a sold beautiful Art Deco Sterling Silver Cigarette Case. It would be a stunning case for storing small items such as jewellery, although a little small for today's size cigarettes.
It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a perfect gift.
It was made by John Rose and is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1930.
It has a lovely engineered pattern to the outside with a cartouche in the top corner bearing the initials DG.
Inside it is gilded with the Hallmarks on both sides. It has two elastic straps.
It is lovely and shiny with just few small areas of tarnish.
