Vintage 1960s Women's Green Plaid Wool Suit | Vtg Women's Plaid Blazer Suit Pleated Skirt sold | Vintage Scottish Plaid Women's Wool Suit

Amazing vintage late 1960s / early 1970s green and yellow plaid skirt and jacket two piece suit. Features fabulous velvet contrast collar with matching velvet tops to the slanted pockets on the front of the jacket. The classic slanted pockets help detract the eye away from the hip area giving a more slimming appearance. It has four metal buttons for closure. The jacket is fully lined and in excellent condition.

The skirt is fully pleated from the waistband to the hem and has a very Scottish kilt feel to it. It is not lined. At one time the suit had a belt but it is no longer with the suit. The belt loops are still intact. The skirt has a bias hem with hand stitching. The stitching is in impeccable condition! Skirt closes with a simple zipper and hook and eye.

Superior country set has it's original ILGWU union tags and was made in the USA.

Condition: Very good vintage condition
Condition details: Some underarm discoloration on lining. Does not detract from exterior of the outfit or the durability.

Size marked: Jacket is marked as size 10 but the skirt is unmarked and is definitely not a size 10 by today's standards. Be sure to check the measurements sold below for best fit or message me if you have questions. ;)
