This is a twin to another commission. A fantastic bushcraft knife. The nessmuk style blade puts extra material toward the front of the knife redistributing the weight and increases durability which makes for an great chopper.

The bevels extend nearly to the spine for smooth slicing. They have been blended and polished to a beautiful mirror finish that also aids in clean slices.

The handle is made from black cherry burlwood I source from a local farmer here in New Brunswick.

The burl was dried and then stabilized with red dye. The grain structure in this particular piece is stunning and is well complimented by the black resin and mosaic pins.

This knife also features decorative vines file work that transitions into sold a triangular cut thumb grip.

The sheath is formed kydex with a tactical belt holster that can be oriented for vertical or horizontal draw.
