I never fully polish my designs, leaving them brushed or adding texture. The apparent imperfection of the item is an intended handmade effect.

The inspiration for my jewelry comes from artistic experimentation and ancient traditions of manual jewelry making, such as granulation, fusing, metal forming, and chain weaving. These techniques were introduced by pre-Classical Sumerian, Mycenaean and Minoan cultures and built upon during Greek Classical and Hellenistic periods when naturalistic forms were introduced. My designs are influenced by the skill and the laborious attention to detail paid by the artisans throughout thousands of years of jewelry design.

These rings are first hand-forged in 21k gold and then cast in various metals. They are made to order, so may vary slightly from the ones pictured.
