Set of 5 Vintage Bjarne Bo for VIAS sold Storage Containers – Iconic Mid-Century Design 1960s – Made in Denmark – RARE!

Designed in the 1960s by Danish designer Bjarne Bo Andersen (more often known simply as Bjarne Bo), these iconic kitchen storage containers are both beautiful and functional. The clear canisters are blue-grey tinted plastic and the tops are egg yolk yellow with deep finger channels on the top for easy opening. The design is really clever with small pins in the containers to slide and lock the lids in place. These are made of ABS plastic (the same plastic legos are made out of!) which is BPA-free. Made in Denmark. The sizes are as follows… 2 large = 6.75“dia x 6.25“h and holds 2 liters; 1 medium = 5“dia x 6.5“h and holds 1 liter; 2 small = 5“dia x 4“h and holds .5 liter. These are all in excellent vintage condition with no chips or sold cracks and some surface wear expected for their age. All of the containers, except for 1 of the large, have their original stickers on the bottom as well. These are hard to find, especially in sets! So snatch them up while you can.
