Product code: Vintage Set of Four "Swirl and sold Ball" Pattern 7" Salad Plates by Westmoreland
This pattern, #1842 aka "Swirl and Ball" began production in 1943 by Westmoreland. A similar pattern called "Ray" aka "Ball and Swirl" was produced by McKee Bros. almost 50 years earlier. Either way, both are a fun pattern but can be difficult to find.
These four salad plates measure 7" in diameter. sold They are free from chips and cracks and there are just a few utensil marks.....excellent vintage/used condition.
