Bowtex is a Belgian company that makes undergarments for the motorcycle industry. Kevlar construction throughout with reinforced panels for the most common abrasion areas means you can wear these under your normal clothes and be protected against road rash. I chose to use Icon D30 Evo Pro X armor for the knees and hips so that I had all round protection ($70 total value, included). The dye wore a little from everyday use, but there are no tears or holes as you can imagine with a material like this. The XS size is misleading as I'm a 30” waist and 5'6” and these fit just how you want them to. They sit higher on the waist too so there's no issue with sold them sliding down, and the elastic waistband and anklebands make sure the leggings stay in place while you're moving around in the seat.
