Kickstarted this expansion but I no longer own the core game. It has never been opened and is still sealed as shipped. This expansion is not currently available on the market, as its still being sent out to Kickstarter backers. Root: The Marauder Expansion introduces the Lord of the Hundreds and Keepers in Iron factions, as well as a new gameplay element: Hirelings! These small factions can be used at any player count and introduce surprising new power combinations as well as a chess-like tension to lower player count games of Root. Finally, The Marauder Expansion also includes a new set-up draft system suitable for both casual and competitive play. The base game of Root is required to play.
