Antique French sold Stencils

I adore antique stencils sold, especially the ones made of zinc, as these are. They're French made, probably from the late 1800's to early 1900's. They have an elegant font, in a nice size- just over 2 13/16” tall and 2 1/4” wide. Each letter is 1 9/16” tall. Marked 40mm.

They are in great shape, just some light discoloration and corrosion on the surface.
