Delicately crafted hand painted bone (suspected ivory) antique Japanese fan created with a distinct vision of class and elegance in mind. It is in excellent condition because it was stored in the original glass window box. It measures 11.5" across (when open), 6.5" high and 1" thick. There is absolutely no sold signs of age, use or wear. I took this to my local antique dealer to determine what it was made of prior to posting it. I was told instantly that it is ivory dating back long before 1979. However, the case labels it as bone. It has all the characteristics you would look for to determine that it is not plastic.
