Zinc Plate Etching of Ferns and sold Mushrooms—“Spring in the Woods”

Exploring the woods in the spring, delicate growth is unfurling—fiddleheads, ferns, and mushrooms. These hand printed etchings are part of a limited edition. Only five out of ten are for sale. The original sold zinc plate was etched in an acid bath with a wax ground. The prints were hand rubbed then printed using waterbased ink on a small, wheel-turned press on archival quality paper. Each print is has variations in the ink, and is signed in pencil and matted. Mats fit a standard 8” x 10” frame. Framing is available at an additional cost so that it will be ready to hang in your home immediately.
