This sculpture is hand-carved soapstone with a blue glaze. Due to the handmade quality, there may be some variance in the statues glaze and carvings. There are hieroglyphic markings on the base of the statue. Made in Luxor, Egypt and collected by me on one of my buying trips to Egypt & West Africa over the past 40 years.
